Artist Statement
I paint only what inspires me.
Landscapes are my first love, but occasionally I enjoy painting a still life or a flower and since moving to the northwest I have added some farm animals to my subject matter.
Every painting is a new adventure, sometimes exciting, sometimes disappointing, but never dull. I continually seek to improve my skills.
I hope my work will draw the viewer into to the scene I have painted. I want them to feel the light or the wind or the misty air. My work is peaceful, never disturbing, as I believe art should be pleasant, uplifting and hopefully hold something beautiful in it.
